Overview

We understand that plans can change. This refund policy outlines the terms for cancellations and refunds for the 145th Annual Session of the United Supreme Council, AASR, PHA, Northern Jurisdiction, scheduled for May 22-26, 2026, at the Detroit Renaissance Marriott Hotel.

How to Request a Refund

To request a cancellation and refund:

  1. Email your request to event@usc145.com
  2. Include your full name and registration confirmation number
  3. State your reason for cancellation (optional but helpful)
  4. Allow 5-10 business days for processing

Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for registration.

Credit Card Payments

For registrations paid by credit or debit card through Stripe:

  • Refunds are processed back to the original card
  • Processing time: 5-10 business days (may vary by bank)
  • Original payment processing fees (~2.9% + $0.30) are non-refundable as they are retained by Stripe

Check Payments

For registrations paid by check:

  • Refunds are issued by check mailed to your registered address
  • Processing time: 2-3 weeks
  • Ensure your mailing address is current before requesting a refund

Installment Payments

For registrations on an installment plan:

  • Refund amount is based on total payments made at time of cancellation
  • Outstanding installments are cancelled upon refund request
  • The refund percentage is applied to the total amount paid

Example: If you have paid $200 of a $350 registration and cancel during the 50% refund period, you would receive $100 (50% of $200).

Additional Items

The refund policy applies to all registration fees including:

Base registration fees
Additional banquet tickets ($150 Fraters / $125 Loyal Ladies)
Commemorative coins ($20 each)
Late fees (if applicable)

Registration Transfers

Registrations are non-transferable. If you are unable to attend, you must request a refund per this policy. The intended attendee must complete their own registration.

Event Cancellation by USC

In the unlikely event that the 145th Annual Session is cancelled by the United Supreme Council due to circumstances beyond our control:

  • All registrants will receive a full refund (100%)
  • Alternatively, registrants may opt to transfer their registration to a future session
  • Notification will be sent to all registered email addresses

No-Show Policy

Registrants who do not attend the Annual Session without prior cancellation ("no-shows") are not eligible for any refund.
